About Me
Hi there! My name is Amanda; I am 25 years old. I live in the beautiful Smokey Mountains with my wonderful husband, and my sweet little kitty!
I just love doing creative and crafty things! Ever since I was a little girl, I've always loved being able to make things with my hands. At the moment, I am working in jewelry design, jewelry making, bead embroidery, fabric embroidery, beaded flowers, beaded wirework, sewing, felting, aromatherapy, polymer clay, resin, and hard candy making!
I started out taking jewelry orders from friends and family while I was in high school. Now I participate in several local craft shows and fairs, sell to both local and international boutiques, and am working on getting up an online boutique as well! It has been such a fun and exciting experience so far!
I am also a huge travel nut! I just love going on road trips! My favorite place to visit so far is, without a doubt, Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. There's just something about it... When I'm there, it's as if I'm not even in the real world anymore... I can be a princess, a pirate, a mermaid, or even an astronaut! I can go on a safari, dine in a castle, and spend an afternoon under the sea! Disney World is such a special place to me; it's my 'happy place', if you will. I remember going with my family when I was very young, and those memories will stay with me always!
I think my obsession with Disney World began while I was at work with my Mom one day, back when I was in the 4th grade. I was super bored, and she told me to get on the Disney World website, and find some places for us to eat while we were there. Well that did it. I've been completely obsessed with Disney World ever since! Thanks Mom! My Sweetie and I even went to Disney World for our honeymoon! I've been to Disney World 13 times now, and still can't get enough! lol

You may also be curious about the name of my site... It is named after the 'beautiful butterfly', one of my favorite creatures. I am ever enchanted with their magical transformation. Their representation of things that are new and changing. Sort of like my life right now! New jobs, new travels, new creations...
